Our Business Continuity Service brings you multiple sources of information to help at a time when you may be temporarily unable to manage your business yourself.
We suggest you familiarize yourself with the enclosed material before undertaking any next steps. For Business Growth, begin with Strategy as that should be the driver for all other areas. The materials help you understand what is needed and determine a viable strategy for your company. The Marketing, Operations, and Staffing functions are in support of the strategy and decisions need to keep that in mind.
Business Continuity offers guidance and templates for keeping the business running when you may not be available due to illness or accident. When you start the planning process, go to Toolkits to help you plan, then select Planning Toolkit Overview. This document provides an overview and suggests a chronological order for your planning as well as a checklist to record what is done and where the final document, information, or notes are stored. The checklist also has a column for Comments where you can mark status or next steps. Use the additional templates and guidelines to complete your plan.
We recommend beginning the processes for Growth and Continuity as soon as possible because growth rarely occurs without a plan, and accidents and illness strike without warning. The survival of the business depends upon proper planning and preparation. Waiting until you are unable to run the business is too late.
